Additional Information
The attendance of the courses ( workshop, design and theoritical modules ) is on every-day basis, from Monday to Friday, which means 25 hours per week.
The programme of studies ( the 1st semester of each school year ) starts about 10 or 15 October and ends the last week of June ( the 2nd semester of the school year ).
The Ministry of Education defines the analytic programme of each school year (2 semesters), which start in the middle of October and finishes at the end of June. Registration starts before the beginning of the 1st semester (September – October) or before the beginning of the 2nd semester (January – February).
There are two groups daily.
- Morning group : 10:30 am – 14:35 pm
- Evening group : 15:55 pm – 20:00 pm
Any change on times is up to the directory of each school.
Lessons stop for 15 days for Christmas and Easter holidays. Lessons , which have not been done because of celebrations or other reasons, are substituted at the end of each semester.
Students learn the workshop techniques by making jewels. These jewels are of their own inspiration and design. A certain amount of jewels is demanded for learning the various techniques.
The jewels belong to the students.
The students are capable to make their first jewels at the end of the first month of their attendance. When students have fulfilled their studies, they get the Vocational Training Certificate – B.E.K. - which is given by the Ministry of Education.
The graduates who have got the Certificate – B.E.K. can participate in the exams of certification, which run by the Ministry of Education twice a year.
The success in the exams, gives the Vocational Training Diploma by the Ministry of Education.
